About the Performer

Sonali Mohanty is a talented Odissi dancer, currently training under Guru Smt. Madhulita Mohapatra at the Nrityantar Academy of Performing Arts, Bengaluru. Beginning her dance journey at the age of seven under Guru Bharat Charan Giri at NMA, Cuttack, and later under Guru Smt. Meera Das at Gunjan Dance Academy, Sonali has evolved into a versatile performer. A graded Doordarshan artist and MPA graduate from Sri Sri University, she has performed at prestigious festivals such as Konark Festival, Mukteshwar Festival, Dhauli Kalinga Mahotsav, Odissi International, and Taj Mahotsav. She is also the curator of “Samakalpa,” a creative platform that encourages innovation within the traditional Odissi framework.
