About the Performer

Ananya Surapaneni is a young and dynamic Kuchipudi dancer, trained under Guru Sri Kalaimamani Madavapeddi Murthy (Siva Foundation, Chennai) and formerly under Smt. Singaramani Challa Vedavalli Prasad (Kuwait). Beginning her dance journey at the age of seven, she has performed at several prestigious venues in India and Kuwait, including the Embassy of India, Kuwait. A Guinness World Record holder for the Kuchipudi Maha Brindha Natyam (2014, 2016), Ananya began her music training at 12 and has won multiple awards, including Second Place at the Raga Rasa Tarangini Kuchipudi Dance Competition (2023). A student of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Public School, she has completed her Certificate Course in Kuchipudi with First Class Honors.
