About the Performer

Tilottama Bhattacharya is a dedicated disciple of Guru Abhimanyu Lal Ji at Kathak Kendra, New Delhi, and has been passionately pursuing Kathak for the past 13 years. Her artistic journey is marked by a continuous exploration of rhythm, expression, and storytelling, the very essence of Kathak. Over the years, Tilottama has performed at numerous prestigious cultural events and festivals, including a memorable performance at the Somnath Temple with Smt. Leena Malakar Vij, which received wide appreciation. Currently a student at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, she is an active member of the Classical Dance Society, contributing to college festivals, workshops, and collaborative productions. Her dedication extends beyond the classroom as she regularly participates in competitions and cultural performances, seeking to blend traditional artistry with modern interpretations. Through her devotion, discipline, and creative curiosity, Tilottama continues to grow as an expressive and thoughtful young Kathak artist.
