About the Performer

Siddhant Purohit has inherited a rich legacy of music and Kathak dance from his family, immersing himself in the art form from a very young age. Nurtured in an environment that valued rhythm, grace, and tradition, he began his formal training early and has since evolved into a promising young artist. Siddhant is a senior disciple of Pandit Parveen Gangani Ji, under whose expert mentorship he continues to refine his taal, laya, and abhinaya. His performances reflect both precision and expressive depth, rooted in traditional aesthetics while carrying a youthful vibrancy. Siddhant has been a part of many prestigious dance festivals in India and abroad, earning appreciation for his dynamic stage presence and technical mastery. Apart from dance, he is also a skilled percussionist, proficient in playing the Tabla and Pakhawaj, reflecting his deep understanding of rhythm and musicality that enriches his Kathak performances.
