About the Performer

M. Srivalli Rao, a Nrutya Visharad and Doordarshan-graded artist, began her Kathak journey under the esteemed Lucknow Gharana, building a strong foundation in classical technique and expression. She is the founder of Kalabhoomi (The Destination of Arts), an institute dedicated to nurturing young talent and promoting Indian classical dance. Over the years, she has received several honors, including the Nrutya Shilpi Award and the Dance Excellence Award for Audience Impact from Amrita Cultural Trust. A dynamic performer and committed teacher, she has also showcased her art at prestigious platforms, including TEDx Hyderabad.
