About the Performer

Shashwati A. Deshmukh is an emerging Bharatanatyam dancer who began her artistic journey under the guidance of Smt. Anjana Dongre and continues to refine her craft under her Gurus Sri Parshwanath Upadhye, Smt. Shruti Gopal, and Sri Adithya P.V. Deeply inspired by the subtlety and emotional depth of abhinaya, she has also trained in Navarasa Sadhana under Guru Venu G, which has greatly enriched her expressive range. A post-graduate in Bharatanatyam with distinction from Shreevallabh Sangeetalaya, Shashwati is also carving her path as a choreographer, exploring innovative ideas that seamlessly blend classical tradition with her evolving artistic vision.
