About the Performer

Mehar Prabhakar is a versatile classical dancer trained in Bharatanatyam for over 10 years under Sri Dr. Devendra Pillai Garu (Natya Visaradha) and in Kuchipudi for 3 years under Smt. Swati Somant. A B-High Grade Doordarshan artist, she has performed in numerous state and national-level festi vals and has attended workshops in various Indian dance forms. She was awarded First Place in the All-India Dance Competition (Ministry of Culture,2022) and the State-level Bharatanatyam Competition, along with several honors from organizations such as Natya Koumudi. Her performances are marked by precision, grace, and emotional expression.
