About the Performer

Archana M.C. is a dedicated Bharatanatyam artist with over 20 years of experience and recipient of the Aradhana Puraskar. She holds a KSEEB Vidwat in Bharatanatyam with Distinction and is a Doordarshan B-Grade artist from DD Bangalore. Trained for 18 years under Sri Kiran Subraman yam and Smt. Sandhya Kiran, she now continues her training under Sri Parshwanath Upadhye, Sri Adithya P.V.,and Smt. Shruti Gopal at the Upadhye School of Dance, Bangalore. Known for her strong nritta and expressive abhinaya, Archana has also attended workshops by eminent Gurus. Academically accomplished, she holds an Engineering degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Bangalore, and remains devoted to preserving and sharing the essence of Bharatanatyam.
